When I met Julia and Mandy at Starbucks they both had on outdoor Jackets and looked like they were ready for an adventure.
After talking with them I hoped they would choose Break the Mold Photo to photograph their day because I loved their personalities and their accents.
Mandy had an adorable southern accent, while Julia had a french accent as she had resided in France her entire life up until she came to the states to go to college and met Mandy.
Families traveled all over the world to attend this wedding and shower this couple with love.
The Magnolia in Pigeon Forge, TN is a unique wedding venue nestled high up in the Great Smoky Mountain that gifts you with views that will take your breath away ALL DAY LONG.
I can’t even tell you how many photographs I took of the landscape and the brides with the landscape, oh it was MAGIC.
Not only are there beautiful views, but huge barn doors, an amazing bridal suite, an incredible chandelier and it is not only a to be wed couples dream but also a photographer’s dream.
During the ceremony there was a rainbow that brought tears to my face. A rainbow over lush green trees and beautiful smoky mountain tops while a same sex couple said their vows instantly made this one of my most favorite weddings I have ever captured.
This whole day there were happy tears, in love tears, life is beautiful tears, and triumph tears.
